A Biblical Theology of Judgement

A biblical theology of judgement. Judgement is defined by Oliver O’Donovan quite widely, and there is great merit to his work and his argument about the limitation of the role of Government to judgement only (widely defined). However, I will begin by working off a narrower definition limited to two sub-categories: crime and punishment. Along with war, I suspect that these categories cover all the instances of commanded violence in the Bible, and possibly all instances of actual violence.
